im teaching kids how to do aerial silks this little girl is not vary high but all she need is more practice soon i will have more pictures up from my new york trip where there i taught more kids !
how i found out about aerial silks,well i went to our local circus and saw someone there doing aerial silks , went home looked it up on u tube loved the idea ask my parents if i could hook it up to a tree limb they said yes , but i didn't have any fabric and they are expensive to buy. so i dropped the idea. then ( im not sure how long after that same summer ) someone was giving away chiffon! that was perfect to use for my silks. so i hooked them up to our tree. then i got up a video on the Internet and i would watch it then run back out side watch then run. i got good enough to have a performance for my home school group's madrigal dinner . now im a pro ( not lol ) . if i could i would be out on them every day ( but the weather obviously does not want me to )so when every the weather is good i go out and climb! i just recently heard of this summer camp to learn aerial silks sounds cool ! might look into that. on this blog i'm going to post videos and pictures of me and my silks also talk about them. i love comments so please feel free to comment.
